By the Light of the Silvery Moon

An unfortunate shopper found herself underneath a shower of glass at the lower end of the High Street recently. Luckily it fell all around her the greatest damage being done to a nearby car. The culprit wasn't one of our local collection of ASBO-kids, it was the ever increasing population of pigeons, who have made the old S&S print shop their latest home.
This building was earmarked a few years back as one of the local eyesore buildings which were going to be fixed as part of one of the council's regeneration schemes. Aside from boarding up the High Street side when the plate glass window cracked not a lot has happened. This leaves locals keen on regeneration with the rather sordid thought that if the next falling pane of glass actually wounds someone something may well be done.
