Air we go

The Kent Air Show over the weekend was a jam-packed success bringing thousands to the area for the unique experience it has become. It's unlike any other airshow thanks to our chalk cliffs, none of that neck bending skywards gazing here, rather the spectators gather on the cliff tops and watch the fly-bys over the sea at a more comfortable eye level.
Good to see a simply good idea work so well, no massive budgets nor pretension, just a simple fun day out for the whole family. Full marks to all involved.

Being a cheapskate I decided to see it from the cliff near Kingsgate only to discover there had been a military coup and that the cliffs were now under military law with pasty faced kids posted at stratigic points to stop people using public rights of way.

Yes we wer moved on from the undercliff by the pumping station on Saturday.
Something to do with being under the flight path. I think there were more boats under the flight path than pedestrians but we were an easy target.
A bit like motorists who tax and Insure their vehicles.
But that's anothewr thing.
